When I sought out to purchase a foundation bitch I was looking for an adult girl that comes from line of bitches known for being good producers (and also are easy free whelpers and good mothers), from a litter that had lots of quality, from a sire and dam with conformation and lure coursing talent, a dog whose health had been checked and has no prevalent issues in her line. It was, to say the least, a tall order. I bought K as a finished young adult in hopes of starting out in whippets with an excellent bitch and maybe more importantly with the mentorship of excellent breeders to guide me in this endeavor.

K has, so far, surpassed all of my expectations - as we move into the next phase, and anticipate her abilities as a brood bitch, I can’t help but be excited for the future possibilities.

K’s sire, “Rory”- is legendary in whippets. He is the only whippet in history to every be #1 in the ring and #1 in the field at the same time. Rory has traveled the world and has been appreciated by judges everywhere.

K’s dam, Rita - has been an excellent producer- ranking in the top-producing bitches in the country for a multiple of years. Rita shows aptitude in the field nearly completing her field championship (before she moved into her career as a brood bitch) and earning a JC.
